News Downey Glass Industries has recently installed the first largest jumbo glass cutting system in the United States . This allows Downey Glass Industries to cut jumbo glass extremely efficient which results in quicker turn around time. This also allows us to utilize our state of the art tempering system to temper up to 84” x 165”. We are SGCC certified with composite certification for both ANSI & CPSA on 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4", 3/8”, 1/2" & 3/4" . Downey Glass Industries can assist you to meet all of your performance specifications due to its fabrication ability resulting in; getting your glass requirements taken care in a timely manner. Downey Glass Industries has a wide selection of glass in stock from around the world including major glass suppliers such as; Pilkington, PPG & Guardian. We currently stock Clear including 1”, Starphire, Solar gray, Solar bronze, Azuria, Blue Green, Solex, Mirrorpane, Graylite 14, Niagara / Rain, Glue Chip, Spraylite / Aquatex, P517 and Satin Finish in all sizes to meet your needs. In addition; we stock 25 sizes of 1/4' clear mirror in loose lite or case quantities. Downey Glass Industries, LLC has been in business for over 30 years in the same location. Our state of the art production facility is located on 11 acres in Pompano Beach Florida . Our production capability is built for excellence and speed. It includes: an automated jumbo cutting system, two additional cutting tables, numerous edger’s capable of polishing, mitering and specialty edges, wide array of shape edges, corner machines, multiply glass drill & notching equipment, and tempering system. Downey Glass Industries tempering system which is capable of tempering up to 84” x 165” has the reputation in the Industry of producing a high quality product. As mentioned we are SGCC certified with composite certification for both ANSI & CPSA on 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4", 3/8”, 1/2" & 3/4". Our tempering system is also capably of tempering Starphire glass. We can cut, seam & temper in 24 hours. We can temper custom or production glass solutions from; standard cut seam, polish, shelving, table tops, conference tables, frameless shower doors, entrance doors, glass doors, office partitions, glass railings, all of your storefront requirements and many more. In addition to all of our glass solutions, Downey Glass Industries has a wide selection of products to complete your glass requirements. Downey Glass Industries stocks: standard table tops, glazing supplies & tools, mastic, sealants & silicones, mirror moldings & plates, frameless shower door hardware, u-channel and vinyl, KD shower doors. Downey Glass Industries is also an YKK Storefront Distributor with an expansive stock of non-impact extrusions, doors & accessories in stock.
