Downey Glass Industries has a wide selection of state of the art edging equipment designed and built by Italian manufactures. The edgers were designed to process glass of all thickness's and sizes. We have numerous edgers capable of providing a high polish edge. Our mitering edgers can miter 0 to 45 degrees with adjustable remanding edge. Our beveler that bevel's 1/4" glass & mirror can bevel up to 2". Our polish beveler is for thicker glass which can polish and bevel 3/8", 1/2" & 3/4" in one past instead of processing the glass through two edgers to gain the same result. We are very proud of this capability as there are only five of these edgers in the world. Our specialty edger provide custom edge work including: Waterfall, OGEE, E-OGEE, Pencil & Bullnose. Downey Glass Industries prides itself with the investment it makes in having the best diamond wheels available in the industry. We also have four custom water filtration systems that removes the glass grindings out of the coolant water as it flows through the edges.
